DISCRETE ELEMENT MODELLING
Discrete Element Modelling is used to approximate the motion and mechanical interactions within a system. This is achieved by simulation of the bulk material as a discontinuous system of particles within the physical constraints of interest. The simulation then provides a detailed description of the velocities, positions, and forces acting in the system throughout the entire analysis.
Our employees have broad experience with belt conveyors ranging from sizing and design through to installation and maintenance. We have experience with conveying systems for various materials, underground, and surface processing facilities. Our close relationships with our clients and vendors provides us with the unique advantage of having access to a wealth of belt conveyor knowledge and new technology.
Our team has strong bin design experience ranging from small silos to large ore storage bins. This includes loading and discharge simulating to determine mass or funnel flow design.
